I just finished my first year of uni! I'm studying digital media and I love it!
The old internet is really special to me, and I want to be a part of the community that keeps its essence ALIVE :D
I'm a non-binary (they/them) lesbian and I love my identity so much.
What I Do
I love art! These days, i'm mostly just sketching but I love to paint too!
Reading is something I also love and would like to do way more. I love contemporary fiction and have recently been dabbling in some fantasy too.
I'm also super into video games. I love playing games on my switch in handheld mode and its my preferred gaming medium. Being into video games is massively hindered by my preference for macbooks, limiting the games I can easily access on steam (and my windows emulator stopped being updated).
I'm also learning to rollerskate! It's super fun and surprisingly good exercise, but im definitely still a beginner. I can stay upright pretty good, but I would love to learn some cool tricks too.
Playing bass guitar is something i'd love to get back into, but have struggled to find the motivation. I used to take lessons but eventually left as my teacher only played guitar and didn't actually know bass lol.
Things I Love
More than anything, I love my girlfriend. They are the sweetest, most interesting, intelligent and gorgeous person on the planet. I love them so much.
I really love sociology and specifically researching niche internet cultures. There is nothing I love more than learning about eveything surrounding digital media and retro technology.
I love love love music. I'm super into Bandom and I love fall out boy, my chem, panic at the disco and all the OG decaydance bands.
My pets!!! I have a beautiful pet kitty called Clementine and a senior miniature labradoodle called Lulu. In september, i'm looking after my girlfriend's geckos for a year and im so stoked. They're so cute.
I also love internet mysteries a la blameitonjorge and Nexpo. Lost media, reddit stories, mysterious websites and the like really scratch an itch within me and I love it.
